“Let us not become weary in doing good…Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.” Galatians 6:9-10

Welcome to our project! The Physical and Occupational Therapy Education Project is an entity of Therapy Clinics International to provide information on various rehabilitative topics internationally. Our aim is to share our combined experiences and wisdom collected over years of therapy practice with therapists who may not have access to this information. The initiative begins with the specialization of hand therapy.  Practiced by physical and occupational therapists alike, hand therapy is a specialty focusing on the intricate workings of the upper extremity to address specific disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.

Not all evaluation and treatment techniques may be explicitly covered within each module. However, the goal is to provide a foundation of how we evaluate and treat our patients. Please note that our patients have already been screened by their referring medical provider for other medical diagnoses. We hope the evaluation worksheets provided will help you visualize how we use clinical reasoning to assess the patient’s status and create treatment programs accordingly.

Following each video on evaluation of a specific topic in each module, there will be a second video providing details on the treatment of that diagnosis. Posted you will see the home programs we provide for the patients in our clinics. Please feel free to download these programs and follow along with the video, which will carefully explain their use. Physical and occupational therapists who have viewed the video segments and have a good understanding of their content, may use our patient handouts. See below for rules of use.

Therapy Clinics International would like to thank Chester County Hospital-Penn Medicine for their assistance with this project.

All videos and written postings are owned by The Physical and Occupational Therapy Education Project/Therapy Clinics International and the individual(s) herein presenting the material contained within each seminar.

Disclaimer: All videos, evaluation worksheets, and patient handouts are intended solely for educational purposes for licensed occupational and physical therapists. All others please refer to your medical provider.
